Mad Science Takes a Breather!
After helping us to learn the thermodynamics of ice cream in May, our Mad Science program will be taking a summer vacation. Our 'Scientists' will be hard at work this summer planning a whole lineup of exciting programs for the next season! Make sure you join us in September, when we'll "Siege the Castle" as we learn to build a trebuchet, a medieval catapult device.
We hope this gives our patrons plenty of time to enjoy the host of programs we have in store this summer, through our Summer Reading Program.
Thanks for helping to make our Mad Science program such a success! The program garnered the 2007 Virginia Public Library Director's Association award for Outstanding Children's Program.
