Hold Availability & Due Date Reminders

New Hold and Overdue Notifications!

We've upgraded our Hold Notification service. You can still get your notices via Email, TXT, or Phone, but all three options are now more informative!

  • Email: Now contains a full list of available items (Title, Author, etc.)
  • TXT: Now contains (space permitting) a list of titles
  • Phone: Now says the number of items available

To further improve our service, we are now offering Predue and Overdue notices via Email, TXT, or Phone.

Phone messages will come from (703) 344-9513
TXT messages will come from 37083.

The Montgomery-Floyd Regional Library can send reminders just before your items are due, assisting you in avoiding fines! MFRL also sends notifications when your requested items become available on the Hold shelf.

You can log in to Your Account to see what items you have checked out, the status of your holds, and renew items.

Due Date Reminder Settings

Need some extra help remembering your due dates? Courtesy reminders are sent 3 days prior, 1 day prior, and 8 days after items are due.

 

Overdue Notice Settings

Life is busy and sometimes you forget things. We'll send a notice aproximately two and four weeks after items are due.

 

Holds Available Notice Settings

When your requested item becomes available, we'll let you know!

     

MFRL will never sell or give out your contact information to any other organization. We will only use your contact information for circulation issues.
