Reciprocal Borrowing Agreement

The public libraries of the New River Valley agree to issue borrower's cards to any resident of the area served by these libraries, including all residents of Craig, Floyd, Giles, Montgomery, and Pulaski Counties, and the City of Radford, at no charge.

The following regulations apply:

Borrowers interested in utilizing multiple library systems are to ask for a purple NRPLCoop library card. When visiting another library system for the first time, borrowers will have to register their NRPLCoop card with that system.

All borrowers are subject to the rules and regulations of the lending library.

Each library will accept responsibility for contacting the delinquent borrowers and collecting fines on overdue materials from their library. The libraries agree to share information on borrowers with overdue items when necessary.

Borrowers are to return items to the items' originating library system.
