Talking About Books
Talking About Books is the Library's book discussion group.
Computer Classes
The library offers free Computer Classes for
beginners. A floppy disc is needed for the classes.
Sharing America Program Series
These programs are based on examples of American art from the Picturing America series sponsored by the National Endowment for the Humanities.
Game On!
A program for gaming enthusiasts. Game On! takes place twice a month on the second and fourth Fridays, from 3:30 to 6:30pm at the Blacksburg Library. Other branches also run Game On! programs.
Holistic Healthcare
An ongoing series at the Floyd Library, the Holistic Healthcare Series begins
January 12th and runs through July. Floyd's diverse network of holistic providers will take turns highlighting
their areas of expertise. Each session will run from 7 to 8:30pm with time for questions.
Blacksburg Science
Learn about Science while performing fun experiments. Blacksburg Science garnered the 2007 Virginia Public Library Director's Association award for Outstanding Children's Program.
